      Pros

      It's being employed, but now with shorter hours. Still beats being unemployed.

      Cons

      Good work is ignored. Not rewarded. The company uses a contract company with Secret Shoppers & real customers are ignored. Store management constantly belittling & shouting @ workers on the sales floor. Very hostile work environment. Workers are pieces of machinery not human beings.

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
