      Pros

      Nice family atmosphere, not a real stressful job, when it’s slow at the store in the middle of the shift they will let you talk some

      Cons

      Won’t promote if you’re going to school and is very stingy with full-time I have worked there for 6 years (since I was 16) and I’m only making under $10 an hour and still part time

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
