      When I interviewed, GM Sammie had been at this location 1 week since then he has been the best store manager I have ever had, 3 months later and he's still awesome!

      Cons

      My immediate supervisor is kind of a hard "butt" some times, and the district manager visits every week, good for ingles, STRESSFUL for me! As with any other upper management visit the whole store goes uber perfectionist, I just want to do my job the way I do it everyday, cause if I do it the same all the time I never have to worry

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
