Pros

*Pay is pretty decent for a first job out of college. I am a manager and I make mid 40's/year PLUS I get a car to drive and free gas. *I'm not stuck in a cubicle all day! I love being able to get out of the office multiple times throughout the day. Its almost like taking a break everytime I have to go somewhere because I can just relax and listen to music * My Coworkers are great! We are a happy little family

Cons

* UPPER MANAGEMENT! uggh... Upper management at Hertz is a bunch of stereotypical corporate a**holes. (MOST...there are a couple good ones but they are few and far between) *Customers! I have worked at several retail jobs but never in my life have I met people like the customers at Hertz. They are horrible and rude and whiney! You have to be able to stay professional and positive when dealing with some pretty ridiculous situations.

Pros

Great place to work in tandem with other professionals in your trade, always had a feeling of "family" working alongside my peers. We come together when times are tough, this is very rewarding,

Cons

The current economic and geopolitical spectrum have been proving a challenge to this industry as a whole, thankfully we are a resilient outfit with the best people at the helm.

Pros

It is a decent place to work with a steady environment and meaningful day-to-day responsibilities. Overall, it's not a bad company to be a part of if you are looking for stability and purpose in your tasks.

Cons

The internal culture is highly political, and professional advancement often depends more on favoritism than merit. You frequently have to play corporate games and kiss up to management just to get ahead or be noticed.
