Pros

The fast track career progression and uncapped earnings once you reach associate consultant is something that drives most people in this industry. A lot of trainings are being provided and the culture is very liberal. You’ll thrive better if you’re an extrovert because most people here are. Some teams have really supporting team members and managers but it will be tough in the beginning.

Cons

The company is extremely stats driven with daily stats report being emailed and sometimes half day stats too. It’s a culture that promotes being on the phone as much as you can and pushes for quantity. Personally am not a fan of this aspect of Hays because it can be tiring and stressful. Top management will push the managers below them to hit kpis and budgets which is why there’s a lot of stress. The PIP process becomes a norm where people go in and out of it very often.

Pros

Remote work Dedicated and humble team

Cons

Benefits team was always the dumping ground for everything everyone else didn’t want to do. I never felt a solid sense of trust from upper management. I was in a contract that felt very much like a rollercoaster and very unstable.
