Pros

Meritocracy - Fast and fair career progression to increase your basic salary in short timeframe. Good commission - if your portfolio still have new areas to grow. Top notch training - Training contents here are professional. Good personal development - Get trained to be sales driven and KPI driven. Shape your corporate sales character - Must have the grit to survive here, don't compare yourself with others, everyone perform differently here. Work flexibility - 1 day WFH per week, can flex 10am-4pm one day per week. Just learn to survive if you can't lose this job - If your team manager and team members are helpful and able to give you direction, you should be able to at least survive here, else learn to survive by yourself.

Cons

High KPI - 60 CVs, 100 BD calls, 20 first interview, 10 internal interview, 10 meeting. Not everyone has high income every month - Commission will not be that attractive, if you hold a VERY specialised and niche portfolio. Or if you are having a low month. Cruel place - get ready to go into PIP if you failed to hit your KPI. High stress - Management only look at your result, not your problem. Blend in their culture, if you can - Management have favouritism with certain people who are pro-Hays culture. Unfairness - As usual, some politics and unfairness are expected whenever there are human. Lack of communication from Managers - Not all mgrs/team mgrs are good, some put more attention to do their own recruitment job. High turnover - Pity some newcomers, they are being hired because management want the hiring managers to hire (as a risk measure if the incumbent leave), then come in with less attention and no guidance, have to be smart to survive.

Pros

Great place for new recruiters to gain experience. A lot to learn. Younger crowd, fun teams.

Cons

Competitive, people that weren't succeeding would be put on PIPs and eventually let go. Can be some micro-managing. Not all managers created equal - some great, some not so great.
