Pros
Very much an environment where you get out what you put in - the rewards are open ended and this is a good place to carve out a successful career where advancement is based on merit not time in. Hays provides its employees with fantastic training and support and the best tools (like our Google powered database) to ensure we are at the forefront in terms of our level of service and ability to meet the needs of our clients and candidates.
Cons
The pace is relentless and it can be hard to sustain. Although Hays have become much better at working with employees to offer more flexible working where required - doing the job part time is very difficult and when I was part time it felt like I couldn't progress my career.
