Pros

Decent training, decent entry-level pay and benefits

Cons

Poor management, culture, and retention. Due to high turnover and operations moving to Peachtree Corners, they lost a lot of good people. Most employees are new to the industry and do not have a lot of knowledge, which if frustrating for associates and customers. Management does a poor job of hiring quality individuals for the QSC and this is reflected in the work. Upward mobility is essentially non-existent. If you do a good job, they will continually give you more work for no additional pay. They will sell the additional work as a “project” that can count towards becoming a sr. coordinator, but in reality it can take years to reach this position due to their matrix. If you’re new to the industry or just out of college, this may be decent experience for you. Would recommend seeking out other opportunities if able.

Pros

Good internship program, talks from different teams ensure that you become familiar with the shipping industry and how the company works. The people there are great. They love working there. Interns have scheduled meetings with senior leadership. Senior leadership is super easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.

Cons

It depends on the team, but some interns did not have a project/assignment ready for them to work on at the start.
