Pros

Great benefits if you want to become a parent, 6 months parental leave, company store with most products, and great colleagues. Learned many things about the business and gained experience.

Cons

Management is highly micromanaging, which leaves little room for employees to work independently or feel trusted. There is a noticeable lack of empathy when it comes to employee well-being, with little understanding or flexibility if someone is sick or dealing with personal matters. The leadership style often comes across as detached and inhuman, prioritizing control and output over collaboration and support, which creates a stressful and discouraging work environment. Management will say to you in a mid year review that you’re not as good as xyz colleague and there’s no career growth. Current leadership team is trying to change culture to French beauty brand that they came from in the past.

Pros

Pros Highly Competitive Compensation Strong Benefits Package: Excellent 401(k) matching and solid healthcare coverage (with a low $500 deductible). Generous Parental Leave: Offers an exceptional 6-month maternity leave, which is highly supportive for expanding families.

Cons

Growing Micromanagement & Performance Pressure: Over the past few years, the management style has shifted significantly toward heavy micromanagement. Upper management focuses disproportionately on minor errors. Even if 95% of your work is flawless, a single oversight can be excessively scrutinized and publicly singled out in team settings, creating an uncomfortable and demoralizing environment. Subjective Performance Review System: Annual performance reviews are directly tied to bonuses, but the evaluation process feels heavily influenced by personal bias and whether you are in your manager's "favor." This subjectivity can overshadow strong results and high performance.
