Pros

Stock options are a nice option.

Cons

Low pay. Always work Saturdays. The call center in Houston that makes service appointments will set you up for extreme failure. It’s a bunch of idiots that will tell a client that a vehicle with 120k miles is still under warranty. Learned this from first hand experience with service advisor university, which is a total joke. Really too many to list, work for a private locally owned group if you’re gonna work at a dealership.

They offer employee stock benefits.

Cons

The workplace culture has deteriorated significantly over the past few years. What was once an organization employees were proud to be part of has become an environment where morale is consistently low and many employees feel disengaged and dissatisfied. The changes in leadership and culture have had a noticeable negative impact on the overall employee experience. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective employees to avoid at all cost.
