Pros
Only the salary paid is the good thing about this company.
Cons
I will get exhausted writting it.But still would list a few 1) The company has a review policy which is just stupidity. They have a rule( but not documented) that each plant will rate a said percentage of staff as Can Do Better(CB) and even Below Expectation(BE).So even if the target of the company was say 40 crores profit & the company achieves 48 crores, still one can find atleast 10% people with CB & BE.So if these people would have also worked as expected by the management then it implies that the target set by the company for that year was too low & hence it again puts a light on the calibre of top management(Plant wise). 2) If a person resigns even after performing very well(better than nearly 70% of the fellow collegues) still that person is either rated as CB or BE. 3) Then if the person gets angry cos of the non sense rating system and he says the truth while filling the exit interview form, then these people write in their final report about that guy as the Guy wasnt good & they write some negative things about that person. 4) There is no knowledge enhancement in this company. One just has to do one thing and i.e to act as a mediator between the management & workers & try to persuade the worker to do the job according to the set norms. The training system is also crap as they hardly provide any technical training. 5) Most of the people have a habbit of staying late(i dont mean working late) in the office cos it has become the norm of this company that if one leaves the office on time then he isnt working properly. 6) They call an external consultant every quarter & then hire 3-4 trucks when he is supposed to visit,so that the excess material lying in the plant is not seen by that consultant. Also the visit of the consultant is not taken seriously by the plant management & one can even hear a manager saying to another late in the evening that "Bass hogaya re,jyaada mat bolna isske(consultant who doesnt know hindi) k saamne, nahi to ghar jaane ko late hojaaega.
