Pros

Great brands and great people with a rich history. Headquarters campus features lots of amenities. Ability to advance and experience multiple roles.

Cons

A new policy in the sales organization requires employees to move anywhere/anytime with virtually no input. Kids are hired out of college and put into roles well beyond their skill sets/ability level. Kids are hired in 'classes' and moved along after a year in role - regardless of performance - terrible employees get passed along to other teams b/c no one wants to deal with them. Employees hired from the outside with experience are treated as outsiders and there are even separate policies dedicated for advancement, etc. Multiple layoffs within the last few years as well as cost cutting measures across the board signal that General Mills is in trouble.
