My experience at Freudenberg-NOK has been decent. It was not my dream job, but it is a nice place to work. - Anonymous employee Freudenberg Group Employee Review

Pros

The hours are very nice and even if you are employed as a part-time employee there are many opportunities to pick up extra hours. The training for all of the positions is very thorough and other employees are always happy to answer questions and are very helpful. There are opportunities for promotion as well. The facilities are well maintained.

Cons

The biggest con for this company would be a disconnect between hourly and salary employees. There are many misconceptions made on both sides which lead to discordance in the workplace. Sometimes the organizational structure within the company can be confusing. One employee could end up having multiple supervisors which can be confusing.

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
