Pros
The store attracted a lot of different customers and most were pleasant to deal with. Not a lot of daily paperwork to deal with. Roles were clearly defined within stores. There was strong communication from corporate. Great quarterly bonuses that were easy to obtain.
Cons
Very poor benefits. Sales associates were treated as disposable. Poor training program for all in store positions. The set up of the store made it very difficult to run garments from the fitting room which led to keeping late hours. The stringent return policy was a double-edged sword, it stayed consistent, but created a lot of dissatisfied customers who would argue it constantly. The owners seemed shady from all the sweat shop allegations, lawsuits for ripping off designers and the corporate team to being made up of family members.
