Pros
Large diversified business and client base. Average benefit program. Adopting telecommuting where practical. Excellent subsidized in house meal plan. Encourages healthy living (although objective is to reduce health care costs). Good life/work balance (little incentive to do extra).
Cons
Little opportunity for career and economic advancement. Little incentive to go above and beyond. Company always "selling" how good they are to employees but actions don't support talk. Company always trying to get the most from employees for the least investment. Being an employer of choice is not in their DNA. Company committed to doing everything on the cheap. Trying to promote one corporate culture, but instead destroying corporate cultures of the businesses they acquire. Company is more about acquiring other companies than effectively operating them. Releases new products way before they are ready and often without all of the functionality that they are selling. Company mantra should be you're lucky to have a job".
