Pros
- Decent pay - Opportunities to go on work trips to help other sites in different states. - Small bonus for making the 5-star driver list. - Able to apply for unemployment during winter and summer breaks.
Cons
- Short routes so you don't get enough hours. - They micromanage your performance. They blast your scores all around the break room showing what you need to improve for everyone to see. And they don't only post it once. It's posted multiple ways in multiple areas of the break room. - The clock-in/out system is a hassle and needs to be changed. It'll sign you out automatically if you are late back to your route, then you'll have to fill out a form and give it to the scheduler to get paid for your correct time. - The bidding system for field trips is flawed. Trips are assigned to the driver that has the least amount of hours for the week. - Safety meetings every month where they go over the same things over and over. - The yard is nothing but dirt and rocks so you have to carefully maneuver around deep potholes. When it rains, the yard is filled with huge puddles of water and nothing but mud after it clears. Get a good pair of rainboots.
