Pros
Ability to truly make a lot of money When you do get decent leads and help those clients, it’s really rewarding There are some decent people in the business
Cons
CHOOSE YOUR UPLINE VERY CAREFULLY. They have a HUGE impact on your success. Watch YouTube videos and see who has agencies, who’s style you like, etc. there was ONE guy that I felt I really aligned with his thinking. He steered away from cheesy wording, misinformation, etc When you call leads, the scripts that FFL gives you to read off of are not honest. They said we are calling from _______ county benefit center. This made me cringe every time and I refused to say it because it’s not honest. They suggest we essentially position ourselves as government employees and then we show up at the door as life insurance agents. I liked to straight up say “I’m calling about the life insurance request you filled out”. So much slimy salesman stuff here.. I hated the lack of transparency. The CRM leads are trash. I bought into the hype at first that there’s people that aren’t willing to work hard and the persistency wasn’t there so that’s why they failed. They pump a LOT of BS hype videos, motivational speeches, etc Chargebacks (25% of what you make will naturally fall off and you’re responsible for paying that back) If you don’t find your own lead source.. things will be much more difficult for you On my team, it felt like only the people that the uplines truly imagined to be successful got the inside scoop on what lead vendors are good to go with If you buy into the “build a team as quick as you can” hype, and those people don’t work out or quit.. you get left with their chargebacks so you’re working to pay back other people’s debts The CRM leads are truly deceitful marketing and I started to feel really dirty working here.. if we could’ve had more legitimate leads, I would’ve stayed here much longer There is an ability to truly make a lot of money and if you’re in the very very small % of people at the top and dedicate every waking moment of your life to building your own agency and get a deal with Integrity Marketing, you’ll be doing real well financially. Of course these payoffs require massive amounts of dedication and hard work which is all fine & dandy if that’s what you want. I realized early on that this career path is really only beneficial to the people at the top. The majority of the company (just regular agents) won’t be very successful and that’s just the reality.
