      Pros

      100% health care premium coverage, parking stipend provided and then fully paid after 3 years, social networking offerings during and after office hours, professional development highly encouraged, great work/life balance encouraged, and international travel (differs between clients).

      Cons

      It's difficult to have such pride in your work and employer, but watch fellow employees give sub-par performance without consequence. Upper management (partners) are available, but seem unapproachable.

      EDI employs staff to work directly with medical/research non-profits, giving employees the incredible opportunity to help its clients realize their vision. Culture is very supportive - EDI supports professional development and membership in related organizations for its employees to help them continually grow and say on top of trends. They provide pathways for staff to be promoted and grow within the company. They offer a variety of opportunities from meetings logistics to committee management to meeting planning to medical writing and more. I've worked there for over 15 years and have had an incredible experience with the company as well as with the volunteers we serve.

      No cons currently. Over the last 15+ years that I've been here, EDI has worked hard to support employees and respond to suggestions for improvement. For example, most positions are able to work remotely up to 3 days a week. EDI is also continuously updating technologies and systems to allow staff to efficiently do their work.
