      Pros

      Location, parking, semi decent benefits, vacation days and depending on your client decent travel.

      So many to list!!! Out dated technology, no ability to work remote, far below average pay, EDI is a for profit and pay pennies!! They feed you false hope of ever getting promoted. Favoritism is so easily noticeable it’s depressing. Senior managers and some directors are horrible and just pawn off work to people below them. Dress code is so out of date and unfairly enforced. Staff turn over extremely high. So many staff have MBAs and good degrees/designations, but are still paid horrible and under valued. Any high review on this company is clearly written by HR, or they a favorite and paid/treated better then 90% of the staff.

      EDI employs staff to work directly with medical/research non-profits, giving employees the incredible opportunity to help its clients realize their vision. Culture is very supportive - EDI supports professional development and membership in related organizations for its employees to help them continually grow and say on top of trends. They provide pathways for staff to be promoted and grow within the company. They offer a variety of opportunities from meetings logistics to committee management to meeting planning to medical writing and more. I've worked there for over 15 years and have had an incredible experience with the company as well as with the volunteers we serve.

      No cons currently. Over the last 15+ years that I've been here, EDI has worked hard to support employees and respond to suggestions for improvement. For example, most positions are able to work remotely up to 3 days a week. EDI is also continuously updating technologies and systems to allow staff to efficiently do their work.
