Pros

Downtown location, parking, and the small gym facility in the basement. These are the only positive perks of this company.

Cons

Management at all levels is a joke. Your opinion will not be valued nor appreciated. The mind games are constant and you as an employee are made to feel undervalued, unworthy, and disrespected. I personally lasted with the client I was hired with for a year, and I was considered a veteran at that point as most individuals leave 3-6 months after their hire date. Within a 4 year time frame, there were 3 individuals working in my position before I was hired. Many employees are trying to make connections with outside companies to escape the culture of this company. I made the mistake of accepting the position before reading the reviews listed here and I regret it. I had to leave the abusive, low-pay culture without a job offer because that's how bad working conditions were. Thankfully I had years of work set aside in savings. I feel bad for the younger, new hires that are clueless and think that this is a normal work environment. Do yourself a favor and avoid applying. The benefits are NOT worth it.

Pros

EDI employs staff to work directly with medical/research non-profits, giving employees the incredible opportunity to help its clients realize their vision. Culture is very supportive - EDI supports professional development and membership in related organizations for its employees to help them continually grow and say on top of trends. They provide pathways for staff to be promoted and grow within the company. They offer a variety of opportunities from meetings logistics to committee management to meeting planning to medical writing and more. I've worked there for over 15 years and have had an incredible experience with the company as well as with the volunteers we serve.

Cons

No cons currently. Over the last 15+ years that I've been here, EDI has worked hard to support employees and respond to suggestions for improvement. For example, most positions are able to work remotely up to 3 days a week. EDI is also continuously updating technologies and systems to allow staff to efficiently do their work.

Pros

some work travel… but not many pros worth listing

Cons

the person who wrote the review below… only one person there has that title… and 100% they were asked to write this review by leaders….their listed pros are only given to favorites likes. The company pays horribly, is a revolving door of staff, promotes favorites like the person who wrote the review. So many people leave and the company won’t change. The company could be amazing if they stopped being so old school and treated their staff like people. technology is old, can’t be 100% remote and you get managed by so many fake ppl who make way to much money for the little work they do
