Pros
- Clear guidance & support for getting Work Visa - Friendly & supportive coworkers (in my centre at least. It varies depending on the work atmosphere in each centre. In the centre I stayed, there were some outgoing and kind teachers which made us - the new teachers, felt very welcomed and supported). - most students were cute and smart. - No teaching experience required.
Cons
It's very heavy workload. If you're someone like me who prefers to plan everything well beforehand, it will take decades to do lesson-planning; especially when you first started. However, if you're not as detail-seeking or OCD like me and not trying too hard to get all work done perfectly, it might be manageable. For me personally, I generally need 3-5 hours preparing for a new one-hour lesson; so this job isn't suitable for me.
