You get to meet students mainly from China. Every once in awhile you get to meet students from other parts of the country..
Cons
So I had worked for EF studios for about 8 months and students complain about everything. There was one time a student had internet issues and blatantly blamed me for her internet issues. There are students that if they don't like a teacher within the first 5 minutes that they will disconnect from the course and tell IT that there was a problem. All students come with many different levels of English. So if you get a beginner student who wants to learn with a English teacher who doesn't know Chinese they also complain about that. All course material does not adhere to the different levels of English of these students. Students are allowed to use their phones or tablets and sometimes that causes connectivity issues. I was terminated due to the fact that I got into a car accident and I was not able to get a hold of somebody to take off those classes. And now that I'm trying to get rehired I am getting the runaround saying that"Even though it's been 2 years since I've worked for the company that they have no idea why they will hire me again."human resources is more on the student side than trying to help out the English teachers who actually need help or have problematic students.
