Pros

EF provides a lot of support for its teachers, ensuring that they are trained in EF products and working together as a team. The company also tries to help with your first entry into China, assisting with securing a cellphone contract and your first apartment. How MUCH support they offer varies from centre to centre. My centre was fairly supportive, but others weren't as kind.

Cons

The.Salary.Is.TERRIBLE. Full stop! EF offers one of the lowest salaries in the industry and milks you for what every penny. They provide a stable structure and support, but if you are coming to earn money, look elsewhere! Their training also merely further entrenches you in EF products and doesn't really give you a rounded understanding of Task-based ESL education, so the longer you stay with the company, the narrower your perspective on ESL training becomes...

We strive to provide our teachers with a comprehensive onboarding process in order to make the transition as comfortable as possible. In regards to salaries, they are reviewed to make sure they keep in mind cost of living and competitiveness within the market but your feedback is appreciated.
