Business Outlook
Pros
Pay & promotions merit based; intelligence, hard work & creativity rewarded. Overall competent managers, most have formerly held the positions they manage. I'm surrounded by people I respect for their intelligence, focus on solutions & results, and industry knowledge
Cons
A few exceptions to the aforementioned merit based promotions. A couple (out of 50+) promoted to/keep high level Sr. management positions they are CLEARLY not qualified for through some kind of murky connections. Privately (& sometimes publicly) ridiculed by everyone who must deal with them, still they continue.
