Pros

The company offers a flexible hybrid work model with remote options on certain days, which helps employees balance personal and professional commitments. Generous vacation allowances, along with travel perks, contribute to time for rest and exploration. Working hours are generally reasonable, with limited overtime expectations. The culture is supportive and values employee well-being, making it easier to manage both work responsibilities and personal life. Opportunities to travel for work are well-planned, ensuring that balance is maintained.

Cons

The company has a tendency to make roles redundant quite often, which can create uncertainty for employees. This lack of long-term job security may affect confidence and stability, especially for those seeking a steady career path.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your time with EF in the London office—8 years is a long time! It’s great to know that work life balance has been a highlight of your experience here. We also appreciate you sharing your perspective on job security. We understand that restructuring can create uncertainty, and these decisions are never taken lightly. While EF, like many global organizations, occasionally needs to adapt parts of the business, these moments have not been frequent over the 60 years we have been around, and are approached with care. Thank you again for being part of the team and for sharing your feedback!

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
