Pros

I have met some awesome people there but unfortunately most of them already left.

Cons

There is no employee retention at all. Middle/upper management is a total disaster. You are either 120% micro managed or your manager completely ignores you - there is no inbetween. There is no compensation besides your monthly salary and private healthcare. Management is afraid of home office, you have to be 5 days on site. The office is noisy, dirty, outdated. Chairs and tables are not really fit for a modern office environment. Laptops they give out should go the garbage directly. Calling yourself a "big startup" does not make up for the chaos and the lack of documentation. Coming to Hungary and being able to hire only from outside of the EU is joke, oh well, hungarians realise that what you offer is nothing. There is a recruitment and employee development team, but they should be renamed to "Visa team" as they cannot really hire talent from around here and there isn't any employee development programs in place at the BP office. Having pizza days, mexican days and this sort of thing is not going to make people like you, this is not the early 2000s anymore. Not even gonna mention the unpaid overtime...

Well this is what it's all about! Early career opportunities while having fun along the way is a big part of what we hope people experience working at EF, and we are happy to hear this in your reflection. Thank you for sharing your note on compensation as well. We review our compensation packages regularly to make sure they align with our industry standards, and we appreciate your perspective on that.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
