Pros

Coworkers are great, there are a lot of very talented and passionate colleagues Pay is above average for the country (the only reason it's hard to change) Tech-stack is good

Cons

Management has no clear direction or communication A few people in management/ senior management roles are VERY toxic, some put professional values aside for personal feelings, some are talking down to non-management level colleagues (high-horsing/ passive aggressive tone or sarcastic replies to serious matters) Seemingly no effort to keep employees around Office morale is always low, people burn out fast No home-office Strong push to do a lot more than required, often leading to unpaid overtime, no culture for work-life balance Office layout is terrible, very few meeting rooms (and no culture to book the room or care if someone books it), no air-flow Teams can be very siloed, leading to a culture that promotes keeping other teams out that makes communication borderline impossible in some cases where we have to fish for weeks for a single reply

Well this is what it's all about! Early career opportunities while having fun along the way is a big part of what we hope people experience working at EF, and we are happy to hear this in your reflection. Thank you for sharing your note on compensation as well. We review our compensation packages regularly to make sure they align with our industry standards, and we appreciate your perspective on that.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
