Pros

EF is a young, dynamic company that believes in working hard and playing hard, and balancing hard work with a healthy, active life outside of work. Benefits are great: generous vacation, excellent health benefits, travel and language program discounts, and a great restaurant / bar in the building that is the place to be after work on a Friday. There is a strong organizational culture and plenty of buy - in to the culture by senior management, and a big part of that is entrepreneurial spirit. The most successful employees are those that do their jobs as if they owned the place.

Cons

There is definitely a salary trade-off for working in such a great culture: salaries are significantly lower here than they are elsewhere in the job market. Job hunters that have a strong need for personal space may be surprised by the open-concept office space, where very few have private offices and even the most private offices have glass walls looking out to large work areas.

Well this is what it's all about! Early career opportunities while having fun along the way is a big part of what we hope people experience working at EF, and we are happy to hear this in your reflection. Thank you for sharing your note on compensation as well. We review our compensation packages regularly to make sure they align with our industry standards, and we appreciate your perspective on that.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
