Pros

Beautiful office in the centre of Zurich.

Cons

Since the mandatory 5 days a week started, overall culture has rapidly declined with many more burnouts and sick days. There is also no incentive to excel in your field, because the pay increase each year is only ever inflation (if you're lucky), no matter how good your performance is. I have seen this cause many people to do the bare minimum which can be frustrating. Salaries are also significantly below industry standard with no other benefits to compensate. They do an employee survey every year and suggestions to improve employee retention is always ignored.

Hi, thanks for sharing. We are sorry to hear that you are so unhappy working here. We would encourage you to speak with your manager or Recruitment and Employee Development team in the office who can best support the concerns you have raised. They can also speak to any questions you have about the staff survey. We have also shared your comments with leadership so they are aware.

Well this is what it's all about! Early career opportunities while having fun along the way is a big part of what we hope people experience working at EF, and we are happy to hear this in your reflection. Thank you for sharing your note on compensation as well. We review our compensation packages regularly to make sure they align with our industry standards, and we appreciate your perspective on that.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
