Pros

I loved working with my fellow cast members. Most except for a few were very friendly and to this day even though I left the company I've maintained my friendships. They were also very helpful to each other and to newbies. At the time I was there we had 16 sign ins we could use to get friends and family in.

Cons

The pay was just not enough to live on in socal. Scheduling was difficult. You have to go with what they give you and it's not easy to be able to schedule a second job around Disney schedule. The amount of verbal abuse from angry guests doesn't justify the pay. Eventually you become numb to it.

Pros

Company cares and values its employees. There are many resources, events, and paths for individuals to learn and grow. This is a great place to get a solid footing and start.

Cons

Very difficult to move up as there are many people trying to work for the Resort. There is ample competition for positions and you need to work hard to move to a professional position outside of park operations.
