Pros
The offered PTO is incredibly generous. They provide comprehensive benefits packages. Pension Plan!! Attorney's do not micromanage and allow a lot of flexibility in your schedule/life. Work/life balance is great. All the employee's are fantastic. Everyone is so kind and eager to help whenever you need.
Cons
Pay is okay, probably normal for an Immigration Paralegal but low in comparison to other Paralegal jobs. Training is a little nonexistent. You do get an intro day where you learn about the different programs used. You are also usually paired with a Senior Paralegal. They just have you mimic prior cases and don't really give you a whole lot of background/training to go off of. You just learn by doing, which may be a normal occurrence. Going through the temp agency can be a little rocky. They promise certain things they may not always be true. For example, they say you are "usually" notified within 6 months of temp work if you will be hired full time. If not, chances are you won't be hired. However, if you want to be hired full-time it is usually closer to a year and you need to nag/nearly quit your job in order to get hired on full time.
