      Cooley is probably the best of big law - sophisticated clients in the high tech and life sciences industries, interesting, cutting-edge legal work, genuinely collegial culture, and plenty of training and advancement opportunities.

      Cons

      Long hours (nights, weekends, more late nights and weekends), pressure to conform to firm demands, radical stress.

      Free lunch and snack bar

      Cons

      Some offices have awful open layouts and cubicle like associate seating. I also experienced a lot of turnover and instability under the new CEO.
