Pros

People are good(depending on your Team and Manager) - My manger was decent. Work life balance. Hybrid work setup. Transport facilities. Subsidized food. Inhouse Gym. Decent amount of leaves. Timely salary and shift allowance. People who are at the last few years of their careers - This is a good place for you.

Cons

Strict 9 hrs in office policy. All the projects are just support, there is absolutely no growth - People want to leave but can't either because of comfort zone or their skills are outdated. Low salary. No tax saving options such as employes NPS, food card etc. No parental insurance. 90 days notice period. Layoffs in various regions but that's everywhere. Onsite travel is a scam, you travel during your weekends - if you get the opportunity. - The travel period is very short Absolutely dull office interiors with a strange chemically smell. Not enough washrooms i.e washroom to people ratio is completely off. My experience wasnt that great not because of how the company is but I simply came from a better setup and was constantly comparing.

Pros

Great exposure to real plant operations and how engineering work impacts reliability, quality, and downtime. Hands-on troubleshooting opportunities—good place to build structured problem-solving skills. Strong process documentation environment (P&IDs/SOPs/LOTO), which helps you learn disciplined engineering practices. Projects feel practical and meaningful, not just “intern work.”

Cons

Learning curve: There’s a lot to learn early on (systems, standards, plant terminology), so the first few weeks can feel information-heavy.
