Pros
The company sets you up for success by letting you dictate your path here. The work load and expectations vary greatly from client to client, but if you're ready to put in the effort, you will be rewarded. I came to the company for their competitive pay, and the potential for growth. The growth continues to stay steady, and the opportunities here seem to be endless. I work remotely, which can provide it's own set of challenges, but Cielo does a great job to include remote employees and set them up for success. In addition to the great professional atmosphere, the relationships I've built at Cielo are the strongest I've had professionally. I'm not sure what it is, but they grow them nice in Wisconsin.
Cons
Just a few cons to note: 1. The IT department is a nightmare. I've had a great deal of softphone issues, and they have never given me a solution. 2. The onboarding process is rough for new employees - particularly remote staff. There is no Cielo onboarding - each team is responsible for creating their own training program. They are growing fast enough to create a Cielo branded training day for new employees, walking them through company-wide systems and best practices. Trying to connect with a remote employee who doesn't have their softphone or communicator set up is a nightmare. Which brings me to my next point... 3. Cielo just onboarded their 1000th employee - why is SKYPE their main choice for interoffice instant messaging? It's incredibly difficult to find coworkers on Skype, and I probably get "catfish" requests once a week. Is it that expensive to have an office standard communicating system? Skype seems pretty second rate... 4. This seems silly, but... THERE'S NO HOLIDAY PARTY!! Huh? How is there not a budget for this?? 5. They have a strong program for internal recruiter training. I wish they had a management development path as well.
