Pros
I've been with Pinstripe for almost 2 years. FUN culture!!! We work hard, but we learn so much. Whenever I've felt like my plate has gotten too full, all I have had to do is talk with my manager to get things balanced back out. (I think employees in any company fail to communicate this need to management and just assume they have to say yes to everything.) There is a true culture of sharing and collaborating at Pinstripe (and I am a remote employee!) Competitive pay, merit increases and we are well incented when milestones are reached. (This is the first company I have worked for where I feel like they are looking for ways to bonus me instead of looking for ways to dock my bonus or not pay it out.) When our employee engagement survey results come back, they are shared with the whole company and our executive team puts an action plan to improve any areas we want improvement on. An executive sponsor leads an individual focus area and provides us with a scorecard every month on their work to improve in this area. (CRAZY and AMAZING, right?) I've gotten hand written thank you notes from my managers. Another time, each employee in our company got a crispy $100 bill from our leadership just to say "thanks." When we had a record quarter, leadership gave every employee another 2 days off for the holidays. We constantly have the opportunity to learn new technologies and Pinstripe is always the first in line to try out something new! I feel like Pinstripe manages its growth really well in terms of hiring and retention. I have never heard of them laying off people because "the work dried up." This was very important to me prior to joining Pinstripe and I'm happy to have seen them "live" up to this promise. I have worked in staffing, HR and for Fortune 500 company. Pinstripe is the right place/size for talented people to come, grow and be visible. You're not just a number and I love it! I am 10 times the recruiter I was before I came here because of my exposure to different technologies, tools and great mentors.
Cons
Pinstripe would be a tough culture for people who like to come in and "drone" through their workdays. We love energetic go-getters and the employees that I have seen soured are the ones who like to fly under the radar and don't feel like they have some input or control over their workflow. We are a growing organization and with that come some growing pains, but leadership is totally in tune with this and tackles curves as they come.
