You can have international exposure, diverse culture experience, freedom of travelling worldwide with low cost, the crew lifestyle is something you would never have with other jobs. You can have flexible lifestyle.
Cons
Salary is low, it's better if you have other parttime jobs e.g. yoga instructor, personal trainer. It's physically challenging and not a job for everyone. If you can't eat, sleep, work in any timezone, any time, this is not for you or you have to overcome all these challenges. If you want to have a fix schedule lifestyle, it might out of your control. You might work during Christmas or new year eve. There's not much career growth, despite being a course instructor or develop further in F&B or hospitality.
