Pros

Great 401K benefits-- matching and 100% vested at day 1, good work/life balance, commuter benefits include free transportation up to $120 a month, education reimbursement is high. Office environment is beneficial to be at the corporate headquaters because you get to interact more with upper-level execs than at ofther locations. The Communications team is very news-based and not fluffy. And when difficult organization changes are made, they treat employees like adults and explain why.

Cons

Being that its the corporate headquarters, the office culture is a bit stiff and mostly older individuals. Its also difficult to feel connected to the products when you aren't in Seattle. As mentioned in other reviews, everything takes extremely long to work through. Often times you'll work on a story or project and it either gets cut during the long approval process or it gets shot down due to changes that make the story irrelevant. Any growth is often lateral. They will move someone from project to project with the same title before moving them up. Vacation benefits are terrible (10 days for 1-5 yrs, 12 days for 5-10 years... it takes 10 years to get just 15 vacation days!)

Pros

Benefits are great, base pay could be better.

Cons

Currently the major location with jobs are not attractive, pay should reflect the undesirable location.

Pros

Work-life balance has been great at the Long Beach site. My coworkers are very considerate and supportive. Benefits suck as parental leave and 401k, Roth 401k, and mega backdoor Roth make it so you can really get ahead in terms of retirement building. They are trying to get better in culture and performance rather than some companies that don’t even pretend to care. During the pandemic there was no training. Now there’s some!

Cons

Base pay can be slightly lower than other companies for specific skills. Each site and each organization within each site has its own culture depending on who is the VP/executive team. There are so many executives it’s hard to get things done. Things move very slowly.
