Pros
Great benefits: 10% 401k match immediate vesting (Roth 401k option & rollovers allowed), cheap health insurance, $625 employer HSA contribution (if on high deductible), nice total-rewards options (e.g., rental car discounts, etc.) Good work life balance (may be team specific) Management is supportive of internal movement and desire to explore new options (again may be specific to team/office)
Cons
Internal upward mobility is difficult unless you are clearly demonstrating the next level and have an advocate for you. Not necessarily unfair, but you won't be getting free promotions left and right. (Not including basic annual cost-of-living raises and occasional payscale adjustments)
