Pros

Good pay. Good benefits. Attendance issues are the only real way to get fired. They do a good job of catering the basic needs.

Cons

They can call a mandatory 1 hour of overtime everyday, and mandatory production days whenever they feel like it. If you're schedule isn't very flexible, there will not be much wiggle room. The shift hours are long, making going to school while working there almost impossible. Depending on which staffing agency you come in under, your chances of being hired on to BMW Staff are greatly affected. Those coming in on the logistics side, Tier One Solutions, have no opportunity to be hired on full-time. The various staffing agencies that partner with BMW also will not compete with one another for employees. That means, if you want to make a lateral move from one agency to another, you must first resign from your current position before the other agency will even acknowledge you for hire. For most people who aren't lucky enough to come in under the MAU title (best chance of getting hired on directly) there are only two options: Quit, or get fired.
