Pros

Good benefits (health, 401K etc). Competitive salary. Flexible regarding working in an office or working virtual office or a combination of both. A good supervisor can help avoid some of the red tape in the company.

Cons

Hierarchical management style stemming from old AT&T days. Lots of levels. Promotional opportunities, especially since dot com downturn to present, are very limited. Lots of layoffs and limited job security. You tend to be pigeon-holed with the work you do, with limited opportunity to make lateral moves. Significant travel within professional services and lots of out-of-hours work expected. Bonus structure and performance review system disappointing.

Pros

The company used to care about customers, but they removed all the sales people who actually visited and consulted with customers to save travel cost.

Cons

The company's newest CEO, Patrick, only cares about getting back to a Cybersecurity company as fast as possible. Can't sell the company fast enough, but buyers can't get past due diligence periods.
