Pros

Great for telecommuting (which is what we sell as a company), very little micro-management, and the pay is very comparable.

Cons

Very little upside to working at Avaya. Avaya is in a cost cutting mode, forecasts have decreased dramatically, and upper management does not seem to understand how to tackle the bad economy. Right now all actions are about "cutting the fat." While I agree that companies must react, it is dissapointing to see that they are cutting back so drastically.

Pros

The company used to care about customers, but they removed all the sales people who actually visited and consulted with customers to save travel cost.

Cons

The company's newest CEO, Patrick, only cares about getting back to a Cybersecurity company as fast as possible. Can't sell the company fast enough, but buyers can't get past due diligence periods.
