Pros
I obtained a lot of good job experience in the Java/J2EE area. I enjoyed working with most of my coworkers. The job, in addition to a good salary, also had good benefits such as generous vacation and 401K benefits.
Cons
Avaya has off shored a lot of their software engineering, Q/A, and production support positions to lower cost areas such as India and China. It became rather depressing to survive ten years of FMPs.
