Pros
- You have a front row seat to watch the evolution of technology in the mobile advertising world - Their products really work (99% uptime is not an exaggeration) - You learn something new literally everyday - There's a lot of opportunities to do things outside of your work scope and collaborate with other teams (teaching classes for new joiners, webinars, masterclass, other marketing events) - You're surrounded by mostly highly intelligent people, top of the industry - The most diverse workplace, here you will meet people from so many different cultures and backgrounds - A lot of fun activities, parties, and events held at fancy restaurants/hotels - The best of best perks such as WFH budget, fitness budget, variety of fitness classes, first class health insurance - You have the AF tag attached to your name so you're highly valued and demanded in the industry - As a CSM, once you leave AF, no work will ever be too tough, no task will ever be too difficult. You're gonna be able to deal with anything no matter how challenging
Cons
Cons from the perspective of a CSM - Work-life balance is virtually nonexistent - Very hard to get a headcount so every CSM was overworked, utilized to their maximum capacity - Because there is no buffer, when someone leaves, their team members have to suffer until there's a replacement - Work can be stressful because of unrealistic KPIs and expectations - Compensation seems competitive at the first glance, but once you've worked there a year or more, you will realize you're underpaid. The pay is not proportionate to the amount of work you're doing and the stress you're under. Cons in general - While most people are super smart and competent, there are still some incompetent and lazy people in the company. For some reason, they stay at AF longer than the more competent people. - Promotion usually comes before pay, so you're taking on more responsibilities while getting the same pay for what could be 6 months or even a year - The transition to become corporate is too drastic and poorly planned
