Pros
A great cause and brand. The opportunity to hear about and meet incredible HRDs and their stories.
Cons
The Management do not know what they are doing and are hardly in the office. They are cowardly and outsource work and decision to agencies. Bullying is also tolerated- it's just shameful. Amnesty international UK exists on dining out on its name and past glories whereas the reality is the leadership and lady at the helm are terrible and rely on lower staff and ( naive enthusiasm of it's) volunteers to do all the work. Most of the management have been their years - some have never worked anywhere else, and probably wouldn't get a job elsewhere. Good staff are 'let go' as they would challenge management and this unfair status quo - Hence the high turnover. Its so sad - Amnesty and its members deserve a hold lot more.
