Cons
Physician committee members don't respect staff and don't value staff time. Senior management doesn't advocate for staff and doesn't hold physician committee members accountable if they don't fulfill their commitment requirements. All VPs have been there 15+ years, don't give time of day to lower-level employees and are the reason for such slow organizational change. Lower-level employees aren't valued, aren't utilized to full potential. High turnover and no room to grow, despite what they may tell you in the interview process. Severe lack of communication and coordination between departments.
