Cons
- I had covid so I had to cancel some classes but still did a few out of fear that my manager would again speak to me like I'm a child. After cancelling and giving a doctor's note, I was then threatened to be fired and money was deducted off my salary. - Managers condescend teachers and show a lack of respect. - The teaching tools and classroom crashes constantly and they don't take responsibility for it, so the teachers get punished and get money taken off their salary. - The company always takes the students side so any small student complaint (even if it's not true) can cause for money to be deducted from your salary. - Whether you have a doctors note, you're getting married, you're in hospital etc, you will get money deducted from your salary if you have to close some slots in your schedule. I've gotten as much as about $50 deducted in a space of 2 weeks due to their systems not working properly and an emergency cancellation. - No room for growth in the company. After working there for almost 2 years you can expect a raise of only 60 cents.
