Pros
Growth and potential to move up if relocatable. Good training systems.
Cons
New stores get attention while older stores get less product and less growth potential. Some distribution centers are better than others. company leadership came from softlines heavy background and they are losing customers in headlines areas because of this. In the past the headlines areas drive people in and the softlines areas helped balanced the margin. Now more focus on softlines areas to drive margin but you have more competition in softlines areas. As store gets older, hours are less and less with continued reduction in payroll. To much focus on credit cards. Company has forgotten a customer service approach and think people don't need as much assistance. Power hour takes all leadership to front to focus on credit while shopper have reduced help.
