Pros

Flexible schedule, they tend to work around your life (school, kids, etc), chance for advancement if you truly want it

Cons

Pay right above minimum wage (you can find similar work for higher pay), tend to abuse good workers, large turnover rate. New ownership switch going close to walmart principles

Pros

The easiest thing about job is the work itself.

Cons

The upper management is horrible on every level. They don’t care enough to even give job interviews, so you don’t know what to expect on your first day. Expect someone to not train you, but aggressively micromanage you and let you know what you do is wrong but not show how to do anything correctly. I’ve never seen a retail place operate so “by the books” but will make up rules on the spot when it’s most convenient for them. There is a severe lack of communication and care all around, partly from a lot of the managers being on different parts of the spectrum. The senior employees will also take out their home life problems out on you bc they’re jealous you got more credit card applications than them. Don’t work here unless you enjoy high school petty drama from ladies that have worked 30+ years in retail.
