Pros

We care about our customers and aim to provide a great product and great service. The work environment is open and accepting.

Cons

Sometimes we iterate too fast and there is no a throughline of communication between different teams. There is sometimes a disparity between custome facing teams and internal teams.

Pros

Emma is a great place to work. I can't speak to how it is in all the departments, but the client experience side of things was stellar. Managers are constantly thinking of ways to increase revenue while providing a genuinely good experience to customers. Managers care about the personal and professional development of the employees. Things are always changing to match the changes in business (this is a good thing. You never get bored) These folks throw the kitchen sink at you when it comes time making you feel like your presence is valued. Listen to this list and tell me that these folks don't want to keep people happy: Free lunch on Wednesday Killer family leave package Beer keg Awesome work parties (like 80's sitcom level awesome) If you're sick they let you stay home because they believe you are a human being and not a cog(ie take as many sick days as you want) No restrictions on your laptop New and blazing fast gear for your job Awesome offices that are clean and modern Emphasis on charity. They give you 250 a year to give to your fave charity Forward thinking business (see family leave, LGBT chamber of commerce member) You get the picture. If you want to get ahead you should have a good attitude, work hard, always think of the team and try to support your leaders. Every person who I saw do well had those qualities.

Cons

To be honest, it's hard to break away from the phones whenever you want, I blame that on customers calling and emailing for help, but that's kind of the job when you're in service. If you don't know that then I question if you've ever had a service job. There is pressure to always bring your A game to work. Some people may not like that. Open office. I list this as a con only for the people who like privacy. I think it actually makes people connect with each other.

Pros

Leaders truly care about the employees. A true team atmosphere with very little politics or gossip.

Cons

Very competitive market and the company stumbled occasionally. Some employees lack experience and professionalism and it causes lost opportunities.
