Pros

Ethics and processes in place to report unethical behavior. Decent compensation structure.

Cons

More concerned with Wall Street and bottom line. Cut spending is the running theme during my time here. Not replacing jobs. Success is all dependent on if people like you. To be liked you have to gossip and tear your co-workers down. Worst HR group I have ever seen. They talk about each other constantly. They mock their employees. They undermine management because they think they know better. They are friends with their managers and employees feel uncomfortable without an outlet to go to because of the bias.

Pros

Friendly local and foreign engineers, good infrastructure and equipment, good atmosphere at work and no stress

Cons

Company located in the middle of nowhere, not an innovation center but an outsourced support center for other real Eaton engineering centers, lot of politic and company brainwashes, employees productivity is measured by an attendance machine, no real canteen...

Pros

Great coworkers, company brand, and tons of potential. Pension plan, company vehicle, and wellness programs were pretty good. Looks good on your resume. People really care for each other on teams as they tend to form small families within the Electrical division.

Cons

Company promotes itself as a great company to work for as the workers are great people. Management is totally disconnected from reality. Company has recently lost several engineers due to management's lack of understanding and their unwillingness to hire more people. Salaries are very low as workload forever increases. People would quit and not get replaced causing work would pile up. Customers have high expectations due to the Eaton brand and false reporting to shareholders. Don't worry...management pretends they have a grip on this and they are fully committed to making things right. People are complaining daily to HR about managers and their lack of leadership. Nothing has changed and people are very upset.
